Accessibility statement

We build systems people have to use all day, so an inaccessible website would be a poor advertisement. This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where it falls short, we’d like to know.

What we've built in

Keyboard access

Every link, button, and form field is reachable by keyboard with a visible focus outline.

Readable contrast

Body text meets at least 4.5:1 against its background; large headings meet 3:1.

Semantic structure

Real headings, lists, and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure.

Described graphics

Diagrams and charts carry text descriptions; decoration is hidden from assistive tech.

Reduced motion

Animation stops if your system asks for reduced motion. Nothing flashes or auto-plays with sound.

Zoom and reflow

Pages reflow to 400% zoom and to narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.

Known gaps

We’d rather name these than claim a clean sheet:

  • Embedded booking calendar. Our scheduling page embeds a third-party calendar we don’t control. If it gives you trouble, email us and we’ll book the time for you.
  • Interactive diagrams. The animated system diagram and solution finder have text equivalents, but the visual detail isn’t fully reproduced in text yet.
  • Older documents. PDFs published before this statement may not be fully tagged. Ask and we’ll send an accessible version.

How we test

Automated checks on each release, plus manual keyboard and screen-reader passes on the main pages. We have not yet commissioned a third-party audit; when we do, we’ll publish the outcome here.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this site blocks you, email info@ascendedscope.com with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and will give you the information another way while we fix the page.
