Privacy policy
We collect as little as we can and we don’t sell any of it. This page explains what we hold, why, and how to get it removed.
Who we are
Ascended Scope IT Consulting is the data controller for this website. Reach us at info@ascendedscope.com with any question about this policy or your information.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email, phone number, company, and whatever you write in a form, a booking, or an email.
- Basic site analytics. Pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type. Aggregated, never used to identify you personally.
- Server logs. IP address and request details, kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect special-category data, and we don’t ask children under 16 for information.
Why we hold it
To reply to enquiries, prepare and deliver work you’ve asked for, keep records we’re legally required to keep, and understand which pages are useful. Our legal bases are your consent (enquiries), contract (client work), and legitimate interest (security, basic analytics).

Only the service providers that keep this site and our practice running, and only what each needs to do its job:

We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Cookies
This site uses cookies needed to make pages and the booking calendar work, plus optional analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential ones aside, nothing breaks if you do.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become projects: up to 24 months. Client records: for the length of the engagement plus the retention period our tax and legal obligations require. Server logs: a short rolling window.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@ascendedscope.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
